Procreate Project is launching a new platform for the promotion and dissemination of original art-works, prints and publications made by contemporary artists who are mothers

To further ensure professional development of contemporary, self-identifying, women artists with caring responsibilities, the online shop will promote and sell original art works including painting, photography, sculptures, drawings, illustrations and prints.

The art works don’t have necessarily to respond to or be related to the theme of motherhood.

The Procreate Project shop aims to promote the work made by mothers, no matter what the theme is.

We will also be selecting hard-to-find publications related to the themes of motherhood, womanhood and feminism.

Procreate Project is thrilled to announce that the shop will be curated by Paola Lucente.

Paola Lucente is a London based curator, currently the Head of Visual art and programme at Spazio Murat in Bari, Italy. She has been the Gallery Manager at the Zabludowicz Collection from 2011 to 2016. She has a bachelor in Visual art and a Master in Art Management Psychology and has worked at the Guggenheim Museum, Marian Goodman Gallery, Scope and Volta art fairs in New York City and the Vice Consulate of Newark as curator.

We are now accepting submissions from artists based internationally. If you have any enquiry you contact us at shop@procreateproject.com or fill the online form.

* Please note there is not guarantee for all the applicants to be included in the shop for its launch
