At the heart of Procreate Project is a commitment to making new work possible. Through its commissions, the organisation supports artists who are mothers and primary caregivers to create ambitious work that would otherwise go unmade, offering the time, resources and trust that the lack of infrastructure around caregiving so often denies, while platforming subjects and forms of practice that remain marginalised within the wider cultural field.
